The Igbo cultural system is a gift, part of the culture is the notion that one engaging in a good deed or act once in time, doesn't create a perpetual king over the Igbo.

In Igbo culture, to get people to follow you there has to be a constant demonstration as to why an Igbo person should leave their god-given right of independence and "follow" you.
