i added a forum into a site we launched ( http://www.ekiiy.com/forum/index.php )

and now, nonsense bots are posting nonsense topics on it.
i don tire, wetin make i do abeg? how do i get rid of this ?

Those things can be annoying sha and dem no dey relent. They are like soldier ants.

@bug24 You are choiceless now.All you need do is to start reading up about SMF security or you connect @SAM MILLA who runs www, com He pretty knows more on this and can be of much help. I'm on my sick bed so can't do more than play away little online until I have fully recovered.

You could try IP blacklisting, block some kinda name usage for registering, do some spam words filtering, Just play around these first to see how good it goes with your forum.

@Seun Is it possible making an enterprise version of the one for nairaland and selling to him? You could get him a PHP version and make your pay from him and I believe lots of guys will be interested in the software.

just went into phpmyadmin to delete the entire user IDs there by the bot and am sure that wont just stop em.
