Merit & Lilian weren’t a match made in heaven, more of a ‘Match made due to calculations & for benefits.’ They’re completely the opposite in nearly everything, they went together to the same high school, & again attended the same university, she’s wasn’t Merit’s type, nor did Lilian like Merit, but the moment Merit saw her again at university he knew she’s the one, she’s was so not for beauty, status, wealth or educational achievement, he just knew in his heart that she will run his home well, give him great children, help him chase his dreams, and climb the social ladder quickly, because like him she wanted more out of life, so much more than this little town is willing or can give to both of them.
