The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos state chapter on Wednesday said Lagosians will completely drown the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent, Dr. Adegbola Dominic, state chairman of the party said it is unfortunate that the monarch who is supposed to be father has chosen to be partisan by declaring support for the APC.

He said Lagosians will no longer by the intimidated by threats from the monarch especially his threats that anybody who refuses to vote for APC will perish in the lagoon.

Dominic said: “It is very unfortunate that the Oba of Lagos is taking sides. But just like the case of Tinubu, the Oba of Lagos is now known by Lagosians for what he stands for.

“The people of Lagos know that anybody supporting or aligning his or herself with Tinubu is an enemy of Lagos state because Tinubu having converted all the resources of the state into his personal use is an enemy of the state.

“So, if the Oba of Lagos wants to continue aligning himself with Tinubu or APC, the people of Lagos will also deal with him the same way they will deal with Tinubu. They have placed them in the same boat now and they are going to drown together.”

PDP will not focus on resolving the issues rocking her boat in Akwa Ibom and Sokoto.
it is stupidity not to know how to treat a man who is capable of sinking your ship at all cost.

PDP should learn from the way APC is handling OBJ, Jonathan, IBB and emir of sokoto.
despite there opposition game, APC has not given them a clear reason to team up against her chances of retaining her position come 2019, that is called wisdom not cowardice
