I was randomly scrolling through nairaland in march this year when i saw the advert for this years uk scholarship. I decided to apply since it wont cost me anything but data. I was shortlisted for interview and also made the final selection. I am currently pursuing my msc in the uk in one of the best universities in the world, just because of a split second decision i made in applying. The scholarship is legit, and the selection process was merit based. I will advise anyone interested to apply and not be skeptical and hope for the best. They wouldnt have called for applications if the funding for sponsoring the scholars isnt available.Your flight, visa processing, fees and stipends will be taken care of by the scholarship. In our case, they even paid for priority visa processing. All the best.

I don't think anybody has. You can start your application if you think the school might have close the application portal before ptdf release the list.

Honestly I don't understand what is happening. I got the Invitation Letter for the 2020 PTDF OSS interview on the 4th of March. And up until now I haven't gotten my interview date and time. Also I can't access my account after the 48hours elapsed for me to update my venue if I so wish. Pls what is happening? Am I alone on this boat?

For those who chose German School and peradventure you were not able to apply on the DAAD website before closure, what will happen if at the end your name came out among successful candidates for the Scholarship? Are u going to lose the scholarship?

How about those that are schooling in Germany that schools are free there,how do they give school fees and administrative fee to German scholars[color=#990000][/color]

As ASUU suspends the ongoing strike, PTDF would hopefully expedite action to conclude the ongoing process and advertise for next year's scholarship.

6 to 10 is for MSc while PhD category is 3 to 5. All these figures are tentative.

I noticed this too, but I think they added the option later, so on your application go to the very first page where they ask to Accept/Decline, when you click next you will see the option to select school, MSc only, I dont know about the PhD application
