Nigerians went on rampage in condemning the presence of the service chiefs at the launch of Buhari's "Next Level" campaign for 2019 general elections.

Everyone was worried that Service Chiefs, who supposed to be non-partisan could openly show such bias and partisanship especially now that the 2019 general elections are near.

On record, the service chiefs that attended include; Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadiq; and Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete.

Their presence means nothing but, "we belong to the President, to APC. We are at the beck and call of the President.Don't expect anything free and fair election in 2019 because we will do his bidding."

But, that is not what really makes one go mad over these people that call themselves "the Presidency." Rather, it is the more "arrogant, insulting and disgraceful reason Garba Shehu, Buhari's spokesperson put up in defense of the disdainful presence of the service chiefs.

His words: “They were mistaken in their assumption that this was a non-political event, to showcase the achievements of the administration, the success of which they are a part,” Mr Shehu said on his twitter handle.

“Hardly were they seated than did the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Mansur Dan AlI (Rtd) ask them to leave as this was a political gathering.

“They quickly left, even before the arrival of the President and for the event to get under way. The fuss over this in therefore absolutely unnecessary,” he added.

Could you just imagine this kind of reasoning? Does this make sense at all?

So, the Service chiefs have become so idle that they just walk into any event organised by the APC and Buhari without being invited? Or they have become kids that just go into an event and sit down without knowing what is going on at the event?

Well, I know for sure. They don't care. They don't give a damn what Nigerians think. In fact, they believe Nigerians are empty heads they say anything to and Nigerians believe. They aren't questioned.

But the worries are heightening. It is becoming clearer the the reasons Nigerians and, indeed, the opposition parties share deep fears, while the international communities hold strong reservation over the 2019 general elections. It is simple; the events of the Ekiti and Osun gubernatorial Elections as well as the National Assemblies election and bye elections conducted this year have been anything but free and fair.

In those elections, it was a battle of other candidates and the APC candidates, INEC and the Security operatives put together. The brazen force applied by security agents to intimidate voters and bulldoze opposition party agents just to clear way for the APC candidates was widely reported.

With the presence of the service chiefs, it is all clear. And, without an iota of doubt, they are for the bidding of the President and the APC come 2019. It appears after all, that all the demands for a free and fair election have been falling on deaf ears.

Just like the Dele Sobowale rightly put it: "we have a set of leaders who only speak before they think. A set of leaders who take pleasure in falsehood. Who don't care about their past mistakes and are never ready to make corrections and truly change." God have mercy

Of course, I believe you guys interpret sane to mean the opposite. And it is for your likes that the so called Presidency spill such trash with rapid gear without minding possible repercussion.
