A report of the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation (DPPF), Mr. Mohammed U.E. on the Offa robbery case, has directed the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Ibrahim Idris, to hand over the case to the Attorney General of Kwara State for trial, Guardian reports.

The police last week announced the death of a principal suspect, Michael Adikwu
, in custody, a development which attracted reactions from the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and others.

The DPPF, which operates under the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, said in a letter dated August 23, 2018, and addressed to the IGP, that “contrary to the views expressed by the police in an updated report, DPP Office, has always shown commitment to effectively prosecute all cases against individuals and corporate bodies, no matter how highly- placed with a lot of success.”

No because the Federal govt only required the case to humiliated Saraki and now that has failed they need to let go

Adikwu the master mind of the Offa robbery has no contact whatsoever with Saraki.

Other gang leaders were affiliated to people who knew Saraki and Abdulfatai Ahmed.

So why tie the Senate president to the robbery?

Why would the principal suspect die in police custody, i smell foul-play, in a case as sensitive as this.

All I know Is Saraki won't go down for this, he is as innocent as ever. Let he who has no sin cast a stone. For all I care, Nigeria politicians are no saints, they all have political thugs.
