The Nigerian Army has said pictures and videos of alleged killings of military personnel by Boko Haram terrorists trending online were doctored propaganda materials by the terrorists.

This was even as it threatens legal action against media platforms circulating the documents, saying it would henceforth not spare individuals or groups who deliberately spread fake news that aimed to undermine national security.

The army, in an unsigned statement posted on its Facebook wall late yesterday, insisted that “the videos and images making rounds as the purported attack on Metele base are false and do not in any way portray the reality of the situation on the ground.”

These guys came out of nowhere in a convoy, a vast/massive area, attacked a military camp, overpowered the soldiers, killed like hundred and disappeared into the thin air.

Nigeria is now officially a joke under the dullard. Wish Buratai and whoever released this embarrasing statement were out there at Metele when BHT invaded, so they could partake in the "doctored" videos by receiving close gunshots to their empty skull.

It took the President and the military so long to release an official statement on the Metele attack because they were permutating all sort of lies and hoodwink for an outright denial of that incident. The evidence is just overwhelming, that's why they can't get away with it.
The most dispiriting part is to think that some Nigerians still support the Buhari administration! Callous souls!

Ok, I guess I can't stomach the whole thing- I can't bring myself to click on it, to watch those that have sworn to protect the sovereignty of this nation with their life's- killed in such gruesome manner.

I feel for the families that will get to see this online before the army sends them a condolence notice- like the families of the two siblings whose picures were all over the place the other day.
