Chibexe: Good evening. I'm a serving corps members(B1), and I'm passing out next month (June) though the discharge date on our posting letter reads 24th June, but official passing out date is yet to be announced by nysc. And I want to apply for unilag PG programme (M.Sc finance). please how can I go about this. Also what is the minimum duration for M.Sc finance. Thanks |

locoster: Hello locoste You can apply, so long as your discharge certificate would be raedy before the commencement of the program (likely to commence January 2020). Alot of serving corps members applied last year and they were duly admitted. Minimum duration for M.Sc Finance(full-time) is one year. |

broadstreet: Hello broadstreet unilag does not accept HND for most of her masters degree program except for MBA, Project Management and Biomedical engineering. |

Key Points 1. If you don't have your original certificate, you can apply with your statement of result. Forward your transcript once you have been admitted. it is not wise to forward your transcript during the application if you are applying with statement of result, what if you were not admitted, you would be wasting your application fee + transcript fee. 2. If you are serving corps member and you will be passing out by Oct/Nov, you can apply. 3. course Eligibility is vital, ensure you are eligible for your proposed course before you begin your application, as you will be disqualified regardless of your score in the entrance exam if you ain't eligible for the said course. 4. Good Afternoon I think I need to address this here. All you see in the advert is same with that of last year. They just did copy and paste. Unilag is that lazy. KEY POINTS * the dimensions of your passport doesn't matter * I have only statement of result (apply with your statement of result, pls I would advice you don't apply for transcript now, wait till you admitted, so you don't end up wasting money) * if you have your original certificate, you don't need your transcript. * nobody is contacting your referees. * Corps members that will get their discharge certificate on or before December 2019 can apply. * if you have submitted your application and noticed you made a mistake, you can reopen it by paying 1000 naira, I can always do it for you free of charge. * Ensure you fill your details correctly during registration. * submission of application form in the department isn't mandatory. horeoluwah: Hello horeoluwah You are not eligible to apply for IRPM with your first degree in religion. However, you can actually apply for employment relations and labour studies which also under same department. Hope that helps. |
