MAJOR(DR) ALOBI NSOR IS ALIVE

Contrary to my earlier post on this platform on the demise of my kinsman, Alobi Nsor which was widely reported by PREMIUM TIMES and other media platforms last weekend , the brave Major and brilliant physician was one of the survivors of the Book Haram attack on 19th November, 2018 at Metele, Borno State. I've been reliably informed after making several contacts and spirited efforts to ascertain the veracity of the claim of his death by a section of the media.

Major Nsor actually led the rescue mission after the attack on 18th November as reported by the news media and they were ambushed by the deadly terrorists sect on 19th November where some of our military compatriots were killed but he survived. He is said to be among those undergoing treatment.

After my post which elicited sympathies and emotions, I felt compelled to dig deeper into the matter beyond the news media. I've spoken with family sources, made contacts to the North East and interested parties, I was informed earlier today that Alobi is now conscious enough to talk.

My beloved brother and kinsman is alive and undergoing treatment. To the glory of God, he'll come out healthier and stronger to fulfill destiny. I'm so glad and excited to announce that Major (Dr) Alobi Nsor is alive.

Please disregard my earlier post and discountenance the news making the rounds in the media about his death.

Fg government will approved $1b budget to buy arms to fight insurgent.Only for them to divert it for campaign while troops in battlefield run-out of ammunition.Even if they manage to give buratai part of the money,he will go and buy refurbished ones that are substandard.I see soldiers carry modern weapons when they are escorting army officers and politicians.But the ones buratai give them to fight bokoharam are the outdated ones.

same here. My late uncle who was a colonel wanted to work out my admission in NDA but thanks to my dad and cries of my mum, I dropped dat crazy plan

Thank God for his life. When I see a soldier these days, I pity them.

Meanwhile I believe the reason for the terrorists overpowering our guys was lack of preparedness rather than lack of weapons. If the video making rounds is authentic,
1. Our guys were not in battle gear, soldiers are not allowed to go into battle without full kits
2. It was reported that the terrorists carted away large cache of weapons, they armoury was well stocked.
3. The had a T71 tank there and it obviously wasn't manned before the terrorists came, and their first action was to destroy it. If that tank had sneezed in the direction of the approaching terrorists even once, it would have put them in disarray and made the work easier for the guys with riffles.
