When the plastic granulator in the operation of the plastic granulator has a poor drying condition, what aspects should be used to find the problem and solve it in a targeted manner? Longyue granulator manufacturers here are some suggestions for everyone.
First check the dryer of the plastic granulator. Pay particular attention to air filters and hoses. A blocked filter or a flattened hose can reduce airflow and affect the operation of the dryer. Damaged filters can also contaminate the desiccant and inhibit its ability to absorb moisture. The ruptured hose can introduce humid ambient air into the dry air stream, causing premature moisture absorption and high dew point of the desiccant, poorly insulated hoses and Dry silos also affect the granulator drying temperature.

If the material does not dry properly after it has come out of the dryer, check that the drying chamber has enough space to provide adequate and effective drying time. If Kerry does not have enough drying time in the silo, it should pay attention to the size and shape of the pellets or crushed materials, which will affect the bulk density and residence time of the dry materials.
Dew point readings can also help to identify problems. The dew point reading of the dryer during normal operation should be a straight line in the range of 20oF to 50oF. Of course, small fluctuations caused by the replacement of the desiccant are normal. If the dryer is operating normally, the dew point at the dry air inlet should be at least 30oF below the dew point at the return air outlet. On the other hand, if the dew point immediately peaks after replacing the desiccant, it indicates that the desiccant is not sufficiently cooled before it is placed, so that it does not adsorb moisture well, and the dew point of the desiccant will fall to the normal standard after cooling.
