Today the media was awash with news that the Nigerian Army had disbanded the training camp for Rivers State Neighborhood watch accusing them of being an illegal militia service despite having the blessing of the state assembly but the mind Boggling thing here is that Lagos state is running the same service and infact pioneered it and yet the Federal govt has been quiet about that of Lagos ... Is this double standard at play? Is it fair?

Lagos deh APC .

Rivers deh opposition.

The central government with their insecurity would imagine the state opposition would use it to intimidate the APC members in Rivers state.

The Rivers State Government came out to tell us the citizens through the Office of the Commissioner for information Emma Okah that the Neighborhood Watch will have access to ammunition, this generated a lot of arguments in Rivers State.... How come the Recruitment was not transparent...The DG of the agency came on radio Nigerian Info 92.3fm and told us that we can apply on their website and immediately people started calling that the Website is blocked because of lack of domain payment... The same DG visited State Inec and was requesting that they want to be Election Observer.. Who’s interest they want to protect?. Just less than 2 Months we heard they’re having training for over 1,000 people employed.... Does this not look like a dummy game?
