This is a 'give back'/ CSR project to support Micro and Small businesses.
Each week, we'll discuss the problems facing an MSE, Micro/Small Enterprise.
Hopefully, we'll be able to profit from the festive season and beyond.
The format guide will follow next week.

………

OUR FINANCIAL MINDSET

Hard work is hard work-
Whether you're holding a business meeting in a private jet;
Or carrying 50kg cement under the scorching sun.
Of the two, who has the potential to learn more?

And 'sweat equity' means one uses more sweat to earn the wages of the other.
- is a doctor less hardworking than a bricklayer?
- whose sweat equity is greater?

The poor are the worst managers of money, which is why they usually remain poor.
- its their mindset that determines their eventuality.
- one of the best examples is comparing the average family size between rich and poor.

Who expects a rich man's child to go labour in servitude, just to learn lessons diligence or discipline?
- is he the prodigal son?
- was the elder son living in luxury, even surrounded by his father's wealth?

We pray constantly for divine favour and financial blessings.
- yet we subconsciously reject every notion of great wealth!
- but still expect a better life: how, by luck? Or miracle?

If we use what we have, work smart and manage our resources effectively:
We'll be blessing others with jobs and higher standards of living.
- within 2-5 years.
- why do we refuse to?

The 'To Do' List:
We need to find a few good books to improve our financial intelligence.
Read ONE PAGE a day- at meal times or in a bus.
Find a way to teach *FINANCIAL LITERACY* from that one page to your children.
Teach them savings and investment; assets and liabilities; balance sheets, income and expenses.
Do this every day.

Find people online who are where you want to be.
Search their social media history.
Get 2/3 of them to mentor you.
Find out what they did.
Do it.

Discuss money-making ideas at work, home and church.
Have fun learning how to reduce your expenses.

Use what you own for your money-making ideas.
Or borrow it from your neighbour.
Or apply for a govt grant.
Banks as LAST resort!

Start a group for ajo/esuru/cooperative.
Better still, if you're all funding the same business project.
Start a 'Money Book Club'© with them, so everyone is thinking alike.
Learn, question, fail, improve, grow.
Succeed.

Thank you.

This is the Micro-Small Business Consult, MSBC®
Welcome.
We'll be discussing your business Challenges and proffering Solutions to them.
There will be one Problem-Solving session each week.
The name is a misnomer. Does anyone know why?
We'll discuss that on my next thread:
"Know your level".

PLS NOTE:
All threads/links provided will be used on my consultancy blog.
Your permission is given by posting the link on this thread.

The format is simple:
You or I can create a thread on a topic.

This thread will only be used to supply links to those threads, like the example below.
Any other comments here will be ignored.

As part of the Launch, I'm presenting a micro-enterprise for those willing to take up the challenge-
