Monday morning set out 6am, heading to illupeju out early to ensure I don't get stuck in traffic. Getting to ogba, met a familiar face, you going to work? Hop in. Omo! My liver fail me o  it was a matured cockroach and he just disappeared somewhere inside the front passenger seat. I summon courage open the front passenger door and the hunt begins. This roach take me play, always changing position. I was just wishing I had a Baygon by my side so I could nuke the bastard but last last he made a technical blunder by diving under the rear center footmat for cover.... this was the chance I had been looking for... you know that saying "killing a fly with a sledge hammer" this one was one of those moments, but sadly all I had were my rubber slippers but continuous rpms were applied to achieve a better result  .  I raised the floor mat and there he was off to meet his maker... at this point I asked my self was he dropped in the car by the brother I picked up by the road could this be one of my village people? Thank God it's just cockroach, a friend was attacked by a snake while driving, it curled round her wheel and raised it head. She was with her sister and new born baby in the vehicle, of course it ended in a crash by the road side but soldiers passing by intervened and killed the snake. |

Whenever I parked my jalopy in an environment that would attract such creatures, I usually invite them into the car for their last supper. First, I open the trunk and take my WMD, spray the trunk, open the back door, spray beneath the driver's seat, close door, open the other back door, spray another beneath Passenger front seat. Wait for 3 - 5 minutes, before zooming off with window glass down and when the effect of the WMD spray is gone, put on the A/C with windows up. 3 Likes |

TPound: If you follow him here and pay close attention, you would have observed that he has a Nissan. If he advise you not to buy it, he might be advising you from a professional viewpoint but that doesn't stop you from buying a Nissan. Corolla has a reputation safety wise in Nigeria and in some cases he advise people to stay away from Corolla for security reasons but that doesn't stop the selling and buying of Corolla on Nairaland or Nigeria in general. So if he suggest that you should not buy a particular brand, what you need to do is ask questions to have a clear understanding of the message he his trying to get across to you. Finally got something reasonable and on the D day for payment he absconded. I drove the car a couple of times and we bonded. I gave one young man on this forum to use it for uber, and on the 2nd week this happened while he was driving https://www.nairaland.com/4813902/nissan-sunny-2007-2010-p2122-p2127 I guess she was passing a message that it should be just us. So I agreed and she's been by daily driver and travel companion ever since. Side note. This nissan is not made in the USA.
