I totally agree with Miyetti Allah. Nobody should attack the Malian Herders even as they go around wielding sophisticated weapons and imposing taxes on the poor indigenes, instead we should attack the Nigerian farmers for not surrendering their ancestral lands for grazing.
Even a country as wrteched as Niger, Chad and even Togo has a comprehensive data base/ biometric data of all their citizens even with the ECOWAS agreement on free movement/trade in West Africa, they've not born you well to move around without any means of identification even if you want to buy Chewing gum across the street and you are caught by the security agents without any ID you will hate ur life, that is if you are bundled back to ur country in one piece, but reverse is the case here. And you people want to tell me that we are not all gradually running MAD in this country.

Seriously? Livestock development? A government that is not serious about human development.

That is why Nigerians think they reserve a right to walk into any embassy and be presented a visa. Because of things like these. They think every society is as disorganised as the one they choose to accept.

As in eh. There is a great error i have seen in Nigeria, illiterates and philistines leading the educated. Those guys are the parasites yet incomparable to any other. Before you know it, they go violent.

Riddle me this:

Why did the "educated" allow themselves to be led by the "illiterates" ?

Who's really an illiterate in this scenario?

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has warned security agencies and civilians against attacking Malian herders grazing their cattle in Gudu and Tangaza Local Government Areas of Sokoto State.

The social media had been filled with reports of the invasion of Gudu and Tangaza in Sokoto State by some bandits on Friday.

But the state police command had debunked the claim, saying the invaders were not bandits, but herdsmen from Mali “who reside in a forest in Niger Republic, sharing a border with Gudu and Tangaza Local Government Areas of the state.”

Speaking with our correspondent on Monday, the Secretary-General of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Mr Alhassan Saleh, said the Malian herders’ presence in the country was nothing to worry about, as they were only grazing their cattle, a tradition he said they had been performing annually for the past 100 years.

“Those people are not bandits; they are covered by the ECOWAS Protocol on Trans Human Movement to move across borders to graze their cattle. They have been doing that for over 100 years. They come during the dry season and leave later,” he said.

The said protocol allows ECOWAS member countries’ citizens to have the right to enter, reside and establish in the territory of member countries.

Article 3 of the protocol, however, states that any ECOWAS citizen who wishes to enter the territory of any other member country shall be required to possess a valid travel document and international health certificate.

Saleh said the government and security agencies ought to sensitise Nigerians on the protocol in order to avert any trouble.

He said, “It’s because we are so sensitive nowadays that anytime we see a large number of cows, we panic. I blame the government and security agencies for this. They ought to enlighten the people on the ECOWAS Protocol for better understanding.

“Those foreign herders are not bandits and I hope we will not attack them and then invite trouble. Nobody should attack them.

“Ideally, the Customs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among other security agencies, should issue Trans Human Certificates to the foreign herders.”

Saleh said the security agencies ought to have collected important data, such as the number of herders coming into the country; the number of cattle they are bringing into the country; the health of the cows so as to know which one is diseased; how long the herders will stay here with their cattle; and when they will leave so that they can be tracked.

He said, “We are supposed to have cross-border security in place and deploy cattle tracking technology. Unfortunately, the government is not serious about livestock development in this country.

“They would promise to ranch today and cattle colony tomorrow, but nothing is happening. Maybe they want to eradicate pastoralism and give the business to capitalists.”

The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Moshood Jimoh, had also on Saturday said there were no bandits in Sokoto State, but herders from Mali.

“They come to the same area annually from Mali to Nigerian border areas in search of water for their cattle,” he had said.

One day soon, President Buhari shall stop to be president of Nigeria. Talk of herdsmen and cattle shall no more be the main issue in Nigeria, as the rest of the world talks about nuclear age.

Those who did this to Nigeria in 2015 elections, you have extracted a pound of flesh from every Nigerian with Buhari as president of Nigeria.

I am against the miyatti terrorist warning to government. but he act as a good leader to his people. i have never see leaders in every aspect of administration that stand to protect his people as this Fulanis terrorist does. Imagine there's riot at Nnewi and the following day police enter inside the market and arrested people in the shop, up-till today state and local government that collect tax from this traders never care what happens to them if police want to hang them or not, this is the kind leaders we have. the same evil fates meets other Nigerians in their different homes and town and nobody speaks for them. But here's is a terrorist telling Nigeria security men's, about Ecowas treaty which is not exist in any Ecowas nations. Nigerian's shop was lock up in Ghana, Togo humiliates Nigerian's as they like even Benin republic, does it means the Ecowas agreement excludes Nigerian's. Every country governs by it own constitution only in Nigeria that Ecowas agreement works. The fulani terrorist leader should know that Ecowas community have only 3 months to stay in any Ecowas state as a tourist, and you are require to obtain resident and business permit if you decide to live and work the state. Mali and Nigeria don't have boarder. why they are not trying the same nonsense in Ghana or is Ghana not part of Ecowas. a useless and visionless leaders and security men can use any thing to excuse them self of their weakness. How can foreigner use your territory free and your advising the citizen to watch all their farm effort to be wasted. Is they are searching for water what happen to River Niger that divide Mali into two, is their water in Northern Nigeria than from Bamako to Kidira in Mali, this is question Nigeria immigration need to ask before permitting this lie terrorist to enter Nigeria. am sorry for that useless nation. the picture below is image of river Niger in mali. so do this men think they can deceive all Nigeria, they can deceive the police men that believe terrorist easy than believing their fellow Nigerian's

Is this a country?

First, it's illegal for them to enter a country which is not theirs. But it is normal since they are also Fulani, so you can't differentiate between the ones living in Nigeria and the one that came from other countries.

I won't be surprised if they register for a PVC and vote next year.
They are there to vote.

Miyetti guy is funny sha...giving orders like the boss that he is! Shouldn't they have applied for permits and all before migrating to Sokoto? What if their cows contaminate the Sokoto cows? Isn't it late to start testing the cows now? Na wa o...there indeed was a country!

...followed by alapotopoto.... they both truncate the development of Nigeria through their demonic activities and corrupt tendencies.... which they transferred to the Yoruba through infectious compatriotism of Nigeria nationhood. its a surprise that the yorubas that supposed to be agitating for self determination are not even doing so. It's rather ironic that the crooked ones are the ones agitating for separation.
