|Is Tinubu Planning Another Ribadu Treatment? by Niorte: 7:12pm On Dec 06|
The body language of the National leader of APC, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards the reelection of President Muhammad Buhari is unconvincing. Could he be planning another Ribadu treatment as a payback for the treatment meted to him by the Presidency after the victory of 2015 election?
Note that the frontline leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the weekend confessed he betrayed his own candidate for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2011 presidential contest.

In that contest, Mr. Jonathan was in competition with General Muhammadu Buhari of the Congress for Political Change, but also with Nuhu Ribadu, the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, who was the flagbearer of Tinubu’s Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Curiously, while the candidates of the ACN did very well in the legislative and gubernatorial elections, Ribadu was trounced in all but one of the ACN States by Mr. Jonathan. Observers have always suspected that Tinubu, who was known to have flown to Abuja to meet with the president just before the election, was bought off to give victory to Jonathan in the area.
Speaking at Onikan Stadium during an Ndigbo APC governorship rally on Saturday, Tinubu appeared to confirm those suspicions.
"In 2011, I helped Jonathan become President because he made us believe he was a breath of fresh air,” the APC boss said. “I didn't say because he was from Bayelsa that I would not help him. We voted for him because he promised to make our lives better. But now, he has failed us."
In the speech, Tinubu appeared to have forgotten he did not belong to Jonathan’s Peoples Democratic Party in 2011, and that he had a candidate in the race that was not told ACN was voting for Jonathan. Ribadu campaigned on the ACN platform until the end.

Why are you people obsessing over the same Tinubu you all love to hate? Is it by force that he must support Atiku? He has been clear about whom he is supporting; PMB. Abi you all are trying to say that Atiku can't win without Tinubu's support? Must he support Atiku? You people should face front.

Tinubu's primary focus is how APC will retains all the SW states. Bubu is assured of 65% here.

helinues:Tinubu is s traitor
Remember he campaigned for Nuhu Ribadu.....but few hours to election day, he was flown to Aso Rock to meet with Jonathan who gave him an alleged large sum.
Tinubu is a political businessman, Atiku can still buy him at the eleventh hour.
No serious politician will ever trust Tinubu. He always go for the highest bidder or whoever will give him the biggest share. Ambode tried to reduce Tinubu's share in Lagos, that's why he was resisted. Sanwo-olu has promised to fulfill and increase Tinubu's share, that's why he is backing him.

They are fearful of Tinubu's track record of winning and thriving where others, including many of their own, have fallen by the wayside. Tinubu is fully committed to an APC/PMB win so Atiku fans can continue to dream on.
The man has nothing to gain from a PDP win and a lot to lose. In fact, all he worked for since 1999 will be dismantled if PDP wins so political neophytes can continue calling him 'traitor' while Jagaban continues doing his thing. What I am certain Tinubu is not is stupid or suicidal.

zlantanfan:Thank you, I know this post was created by mekaboy aka omeokachie, and his other moniker.
The guy is just dreaming of Tinubu every night and he will also come and claim he has no political influence.
How can Tinubu support an Obi over an Osinbajo is what the OP should tell us. You wish he would betray his political godson, Osinbajo over an Atiku that would destroy his structure if he wins abi?
Like it or not, Tinubu is in a class of his own when it comes to political strategy.
