We Catholics have already disowned him.

Peter Obi's vice presidency should be an atonement for the sins Mbaka committed against humanity by endorsing an affliction in 2015.

God will continue to vindicate us from stomach-serving clergy men

Who are the Catholics that disowned him;
Who are we to judge?

PoliticsNigeria:
@POLITICSNGR

The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria has reiterated that Catholic Priests under the canon law of the Church are barred from active involvement in Partisan Politics.

This reaction is coming shortly after an altercation between controversial catholic Priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual director of Adoration Ministries, Enugu and Ex-governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.

CSN’s Secretary General, Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, who spoke to journalists at a press conference, in Abuja on Thursday said that the Catholic church was disappointed with the altercation and had asked appropriate authorities to take necessary action.

“While we are sure that Enugu Catholic Diocese, where Fr. Mbaka is incardinated, has or is taking appropriate measures on the reported incident, we wish to categorically reiterate that no Catholic priest is permitted to be involved in partisan politics.

All liturgical ceremonies must never be used as an occasion for campaigns ahead of 2019 political activities. Catholic church remains apolitical and would never support or subscribe to any political party.

Our concern is for peaceful election process, seen to be free, fair, credible and just, and a democratic governance that would herald peace, justice, equity, development and religious freedom for the common good.”

Mbaka has faced criticisms online over his 'embarrassment' of Obi during the church's recent Bazaar.

Fr. Mbaka support or endorsement has nothing to do with my voting. Beside it's an open secret. Anyway I like fr. Mbaka.爸爸加油加油,我爱你死了

Let them stay in their home, so that they will not be embarrassed, double faced politicians, so he wanted to be worshipped on a bazaar day.

In as much as i want peter obi and atikulate as a vice president and president respectively, he should not have gone their to campaign if he is not ready to donate fund for the project or choose a project to handle before coming.
He is not the First and definitely not going to be the last

For the sake of your generations to come ill enlighten you
Amateur / professional
Immature / mature

Nothing concerns amateur with mature

Abuse is also wrong in this context

When using qualifiers (eg mature in case you don't know) personify it (matured man) note it changed to past tense.
Keep your thanks

Catholics officials should shut up their hypocrisy. When father kuka and those Igbo priest were launching attacks against Buhari and mingling with politics they didn't bar them but that father mbaka has embarrassingly exposed Catholics hypocrisy now they are claiming bar.

Even if he's excommunicated, He controls a multitude of people

So he has nothing to loose

Even if they sack him from Catholic church the hand of God is on him and he has over 25 million member. With that starting his own church will be a hit from day one.

Father Mbaka is a holy ghost priest and has done nothing wrong, how can you come to a fund raising church event aka bazaar and refuse to donate anything even if its 100 bags of cement. Obi is a stingy man and God loves a cheerful giver.

Gov obi should not have honored the invitation to a church Bazaar if he is too stingy to donate 100 bags of cement for church project.

Mbaka doesn't listen to all those nonsense does things as the spirit leads not even his bishop will make him listen n change

Unfortunately the so called village he was posted is still considered wider Enugu, it's less than 30 mins from central Enugu metropolis..The man should be sent to a monastery...
Re: Catholic Church Bars Mbaka, Others by Halo22: 10:30am On Dec 07
I believe Catholic as an orthodox Church has some rules guiding there doctrinal delivery which one of them is celibacy for the priests and the nuns. If anyone violates any of the rules deliberately just like Fr Mbaka is doing, that person should be sanctioned accordingly. With that, they will put an end to all these madness.

I disagree with you. We don't have any issue with him accepting money privately or publicly. We are concerned about the manner he politicised the bazzar and openly telling peter obi that he and his principal would fail in the election if he continued being stingy.

Didn't u hear when he said that after his prayers that healed Buhari that he expected Buhari to reciprocate the gesture by donation or project?

Didn't you hear when he asked Obi how much his oga (Atiku) gave him to give the church?
