GISTMORE.COM

Seun Anikulapo Kuti has criticized Bishop David Oyedepo following his statement that he is "dangerously wealthy".

Seun Kuti said Bishop Oyedepo doesn't understand satire and added, "You can be 'dangerously rich' doesn't mean you can buy enough knowledge to understand satire."

He went on to point out that Oyedepo is dangerously rich because he doesn't pay tax, yet the government is busy going after hardworking citizens for tax.

I find it amusing, how this man, who portrays himself as being very erudite, is after all, not lettered enough to recognize satire.

YES, I've influenced people positively in diverse ways within my time here on earth (and I still do). The numbers aren't in millions (yet), but still, that's me, doing what you are incapable of.

Lol. Not my fight bro. You said Oyedepo don't know sattire and I asked, you that know, have you had as much impact as him? The game is between you and the Bishop. grin

The whole issue is about him not recognizing satire, you derailed and started talking about influence. D'you have comprehension issues too, like the bishop?

My issue with you is denigrating someone who is making more impact than you despite your 'superior' knowledge. Point is, his mastery or not of sattire is irrelevant! Do something more useful than talking him down. Like take siesta or something. grin

I am not denigrating him. He goofed, big time. If you're hurt that he's being criticised for his howler, press charges on his behalf. Take a hike, fresh air would do you some good. And, if you're still going to talk about influence, then I might get very personal with you on this.

Ok. Get personal. I see you're itching. What impact have you had on your world? Asides criticising Oyedepo of course.

For someone who talks about influence all the time, isn't it ironic that you have no influence or impact whatsoever on YOUR OWN WIFE? ?? Obviously, with you, charity doesn't begin at home. You should have tried to influence her behaviour positively, instead of being on Nairaland, asking if you could divorce her over a non-issue. You couldn't give what you lack in the first place. And here you are, quizzing me about how many people I've influenced!!
