Being a previous customer, i can only feel sorry for the customers that are still with them. However, i think they have recognised they have made a mistake by kicking out the people that were loyal and also help build their brand. I am glad we were able "safely" run away from them before it reached this stage. Please see their bye bye email below, you can also find more information on the blog section of their website

Hello Customer,

Starting from the 3rd of August, Nairahost Nig Ltd would be operating under a new management and would no longer operate from the Nigerian office or as a Nigerian company but would still serve the interest of the Nigerian market in a more specialised way.

This arrangement was put into action to mitigate and solve the operational conflicts with both our previous shareholders and stakeholders.

I am taking full responsibility for all the past problems, as I have forsaken many of our original customers that have been with us for a long time. I was myopic with the assumption that changes would be in effect and your experience would be relevant with a local business prescence. It was a biz strategic mistake and I extend my apologies.

We became what we are not because we were in Nigeria or a local Nigerian company, but we did so through the impecable services we rendered in the past 3 years over our 4years of doing business in Nigeria. This is exactly what we plan to do henceforth.

Nairahost Nig Ltd's GTB Bank account would still be active for the Nigerian customers interested in patronizing my services, but this service would no longer be supported from the Nigerian office, as this would be operated primarily from Nairahost offices overseas.

Generis Solutions is no longer a local Nigerian partner and henceforth any problems you encounter should be addressed to us via email, support ticket, online chatroom or via the new phone number available on our website. This communication channels would be available from the effective date of this changes.

All pre-existing staff or support crew that you have previously interacted with do no longer work with Nairahost. Hence, we advise against interacting or dealing with them, should you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk.

I have put these restructuring changes into action and henceforth I would formally take all the responsibilities for your experience as I am officially taking over Nairahost Nig Ltd and moving the operation Overseas.

Pending Transfer Resolution.

If you are an old customer that belongs to the previous structure and you are in the process of moving to a new host and you are still having issues doing so, please send a brief email to transfers@nairahost.com stating

1. The Domain Name

2. The problem you are encountering

3. What you want us to send you or what you want us to do for you.

We would be happy to retain your services but should you have decided to migrate elsewhere, we would help in ensuring that you do not face problems doing so.

If you have opted in for the new structure, I would be calling you personally in the coming weeks to discuss how this new arrangement would work for you, and how we can work together into delivering just what you need to make your experience worthwhile. Your would now have a chance to enjoy all the promised support, a signed Service Level Agreement and specialised relationship with me.

This new changes means, Nairahost would no longer use a Nigerian support crew to address your problems, and all the previous accounts that somewhat are still active on the old structure would no longer be active.

The new premium fee that is chargeable per account would not change for the following reasons.

1. The need to maintain a small number of premium customers, as we find it effective to serve a specific market segment.

2. The need to be able to communicate on a personalized level with our customers

3. The need to be able to control the kind of customers we retain and keep on our servers.

If you do have evidence that your account has been unfairly suspended or terminated due to this arrangement, send an email to complaints@nairahost.com and we are sure we would have either an explanation or a fix to your issue.

Once again below are the correspondence email.

PENDING TRANSFERS OUT: transfers@nairahost.com

COMPLAINTS : complaints@nairahost.com

The old support emails would no longer be working and if you are a premium customer, you would get a new contact email for future correspondence.

This email is effective from the 3rd of August 2010.

Thank you for the journey, thank you for the experience you passed on and thank you for the patronage and feedbacks you sent to me on a daily basis.

Regards,

Kayode Muyibi

CEO NAIRAHOST
