Job Title: Safety & Security Officer


Role Purpose

To reduce the risk posed to the programmes, personnel and assets of Save the Children in Yobe state, Nigeria. Reporting to the Field Manager Yobe, this role will assist in the coordination and management of safety and security primarily in Yobe office and SCI field sites. The role will provide security advice, coordination and support to all tiers of SCI programs in Yobe.

Job Title: Accountability Coordinator

Job type: Full-time

Role Purpose

The Accountability Coordinator is primary responsible for Accountability Mechanisms in all projects under the response.
S/he will lead output monitoring and quality monitoring of the projects.
S/he is responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance to the EU Resilience project teams in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.


Job Title: Field Manager


Role Purpose

The Field Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Save the Children’s Programme in Yobe State.
This includes responsibility for ensuring integrated, high quality program delivery and a safe and effective presence of Save the Children in

Job Title: Child Protection in Emergency (CPiE) Officer


Role Purpose

This position is responsible for assessment, response analysis, design and implementation of the child protection components of Save the Children (SC) Nigeria’s emergency response.


Job Title: Finance Coordinator

Role Purpose

The Finance Coordinator role will support the Yobe Office, Humanitarian Finance Manager and/or Country Finance Manager in the relevant geographic area in emergency response programmes in delivering the Finance teams’ objectives in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Title: Programme Manager (EU Resilience)

Reports to: Field Manager
Staff reporting to this post: 2 – 5 staff
Budget Responsibilities: Yes

Role Purpose

Strategically lead and manage the EU Resilience Programme in Yobe; accountable for the achievement of programme deliverables and delivery of the joint log-frame within the consortium of Save the Children and International Alert.

The Food security and Livelihood Officer will work with the FSL team and directly with the FSL Coordinators to support implementation of FSL activities across projects.


Job Title: FSL Market Officer
Job type: Full-time

Role Purpose

To support implementation of FSL component of the project. More specifically, assist in methodological improvements of market data collection and analysis.
S/he is principally responsible for collecting and interpreting market data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the findings.
