The setting has a homely feel and is situated in a residential property. We’ve created separate areas for babies, toddlers; and pre-school children. This has enabled us to equip each room appropriately, with brand new resources to meet the needs of the different age groups. We have wonderful large rooms with a bright airy feeling, and provide lots of space in which children can play and learn. The toddler’s and pre-school children also benefit from having direct access to a large garden area, which we use to promote free-flow play both indoors and out.
Whilst creating a wonderful environment is important (and we’re very proud of ours), it’s clearly more important that children feel safe and loved – and we work very hard to ensure that this is the case at The Wendy Hut. We take children from the ages of 3 months to 5 years, and use a very loving “key person" approach, enabling us to get to know your child really well, and enabling you and your child to develop close relationship with our staff. We hope you’ll pop in and have a look round, get to know us, and give us the opportunity to explain our philosophy and how we implement it in a little more detail.
