OBINOMICS!!

This 2019 campaigns will bring out either the best or the beast in us. The just concluded VP debate is a pointer.

The young ladies, who represented the youth parties, gave too little.

Osibanjo said the things he says all the time. The rot of 16yrs will take a while to cleanse. He reelled out some of his govts achievements.

Peter Obi came with Obinomics. Facts from home and abroad. And a message of "doing the right things".

Obinomics 101: Obi will leave his shop wide open while figuring out how to catch the thieves.

But ordinary people, when threatened by thieves, will close chop for few days, fortify their shops with burglary proofs before opening shop again.

Obinomics 102: 6% of Nigerians slid into poverty every minute.

When you do the arithematics, every Nigerian, even Peter Obi, including our unborn children and grand children, have all slided into power since the close of the VP debate days ago.

Obinomics103: Billions and trillions of naira was spent on 2million cars by Uncle Jonah.

Lagos alone has more than 2million cars. The fuel subsidy covers our generating sets as well.

Obinomics 104: We will create 3million jobs every year.

In what ministry? Govts dont create jobs. Govts create enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

But my worry is, as the governor of Anambra state, what policies is Obi boasting of?

1) How many industrial parks did he build?

2) How many modern markets did he build? Did he renovate the existing Main Market and Ochanja Markets in Onitsha?

3) What was the size of funds he mapped out and dispensed to SMEs and traders?

4) What Agricultural revolution did he bring to bear in Anambra for 8yrs?

The good thing is, the men who are justling to rule us, have been in one public office or another.

They must come with verifiable and empirical statitics of their stewadship while in office. Enough of googled facts. Little kids google too.

But this campaign has just started, I pray it brings out the best in us.
