so i guess yorubas voted your father in 2011 then.
my father did not contest. Offemmanu was antagonistic to GEJ from day one, even before he was made acting president. I am very sure of this.

it's never gonna happen.
it will happen only if Yoruba Muslims are out of the scene , talking from experience.

SHUT UP! Yoruba did NOT vote for GEJ in 2011. LIAR like you, even BEFORE GEJ became acting president Ofgemmanu (though not all but Majority) was against him. You people insulted him like tomorrow did not exist. Sophisticated m0r0n5.

You must be too young to remember the political shenanigans following Yar' adua's death or you don't know how to Google. It was the Save Nigeria Group lead by Tunde Bakare, Wole Soyinka, Yinka Odumakim, Femi Falana among others that led nationwide protest to force the national assembly to declare vice president Jonathan acting president and subsequently president.

Furthermore Jonathan won all the Yoruba states in the 2011 presidential election except Osun state won by Ribadu.

No no no! It was Dora akunyili's zeal that made GEJ president.

Which zeal did Dora Akunyili show that made Jonathan president? Please present pictures of this zeal that Dora Akunyili supposedly showed.
Did she protest on the streets of Abuja or faced fierce looking gun wielding security men?
She was information minister, she simply got tired of telling lies and told Nigerians that nobody has seen Yar adua as falsely peddled on NTA and other media.

That is a lie.
It was dora akunyili that consistently fought turai yaradua kitchen cabinet in the National Assembly and forced Jonathan to get sworn in.

Stop revising history.

If we left it to Yoruba noisemakers, nothing would happen.

It was pressure from National Assembly created by Dora akunyili, that did the job.

Don't mind the lying bastard. He even claimed Yorubas scuttled OBj's third term bid. Deluded idiot

If not for the protests led by Soyinka and other Yoruba leaders, what would Dora's zeal done. Show a picture of that zeal and let's see.

I am a Niger deltan but if any group is responsible for the so called "southern disunity" its Igbo's.

Yoruba's are very peaceful and have extreme tolerance for both religion (you would find different religion within almost every nuclear family).

Yoruba's allow diversity of opinions to thrive and not bigotry, obj was more popular in east than at home till date. (Check election in west it always comes out close) it voted gej in every state except osun 2011, and gave gej up to 45% in 2015 even when it was clear gej had sidelined them before his 2015 rush to the obas.

Igbos are bitter souls who only see everyday as competition to outdo Yoruba's and claim superiority (eg Lagos) this is what reflects in Igbo politics to sit idle without building foundation only to start wailing during elections.

Yoruba's dont play crying politics, 2023 is in full gear for it, and when it starts reaping its reward the easterners would start crying.

Our south south brethren have simply chosen to be blackmailed by the east because it believes PDP unites east to it, but if you take the number of votes the west still supplies PDP it is still equal if not more than what east calls "block vote".

The dilemma is that Yoruba's play matured evolving politics, and Igbo's play sit down look and envy so both are miles apart, if PDP wins today Yoruba's would be marginalized as already started despite giving PDP a good percent next year.

If APC wins without the paltry percent from east, the east would still be needing a big say in where they revolted against.

My advice is let west vote their choice and east their choice, so long as no idiot comes back to blackmail the other when their choice backfires
