Smh I told many people that we southerners are dead if we continue to stay with these people

We have nothing in common for God sake.

It's now Muslims that are telling the southern Christians when and when not go celebrate Christmas.

I'm just laughing here because in the next 60 years, they'll probably ban Christmas in Nigeria.

This must definitely have been going on for a long time without the people living around there not reporting to the authority.
In sane societies, it is members of a community that get in touch with the authorities to report any illegal activity going on in their surroundings.
We will get there someday.

WHAT A BLACK WEDNESDAY

Would the government say they never noticed a pressure drop in their ATLAS, MOSIMI, ORE whereever stations?

I have not heard any one mention the word militant

Some people think militant must always be from the Delta of Nigeria

When it happens in your area you look for a nice name, it happens elsewhere u give it the worst of names.

Destroying pipelines is a criminal offense. Arrest the yoruba people involve and prosecute them

I have not even seen the reaction from law enforcement agencies.

The same Abule-Egba had an oil spill explosion due to deliberate vandalism about 7years ago around same Christmas season, and there were lots of fatalities.

Now another explosion from the same area, and likely the same point of vandalism.

We already know that Nigerians are criminals, and criminals prefer easy money to actual work, no matter how much criminal windfall they have made in the past. But why is NNPC and the Nigerian police so useless in ensuring that such notorious access to petroleum pipelines are well monitored and secured?

Don't be surprised that this explosion did not just happen after a few hours of spillage, it probably had been on for days.

I hope some in that area have learnt their lesson that should serve as a deterrent for another 5yrs/6yrs, before the typical hungry criminals come to vandalise again for easy money, knowing that the NNPC and the security forces will forever be useless.

This fire started around 3am in the morning, although fire service came quite early.
Police roamed around the area for a while, the governor didn't show up or any representative at all.
It was really a sad Wednesday, A House got burnt with some casualties and so many properties in that area were lost.

May God Protect us all to see the end of this Year

One tanker of fuel is over N4.5mil, that of diesel is over N8mil; the security forces in colaboration with some locals are the ones doing this bunkery. They escort like 10 tankers to that same spot and do their thing. Multiply 8mil by 10 and you discovered that in less that 2yrs, they will be back.

We are that evil and wicked in this country!

A wise man will see this and will decide not to set up his business in that area. Prepare to take risks if you intend to set up a business in a pipeline prone hazardous area
