The German defender also ruled Chelsea out of the Premier League title race. The defender called his teammates’ mentality “stupid.” A single goal from Jamie Vardy gave Leicester City their first win at Stamford Bridge in 18 years. Maurizio Sarri’s men also fell 11 points behind Premier League leaders, Liverpool. Speaking after the final whistle, a clearly angry Rudiger ranted that the Blues can no longer think about the title. He also revealed that the squad is lacking mental strength, calling the situation “stupid.” Rudiger told Sky Sports, “It’s a disaster. Eden Hazard is the major problem for Chelsea. The dumbass player is a flow stopper for Chelsea. He kills Chelsea's momentous attacks on the opponent's end of the field. It is even mind drenching that Italian coach, Maurizio Sarri, fields both William and Hazard, the two momentum killers, on this same eleven. |
