Snow In The Nigeria by falcon01: 9:14am On Dec 24, 2018
Hello guys, I am wondering would there ever be snow in Nigeria? What are the chances? Has there ever been a recorded snow activity in any part of Nigeria?

Yes...Jos, and Obudu...and tiny ice flakes in Katsina. What do you need snow in Nigeria for?

Where and when did it happen in Jos?

It doesn't snow here in Nigeria.
And it will never happen (In Jesus name...). grin
Our country is around the equator, and climates around the equator are always tropical...(You can expect lots of rainfall, and then harmattan).
What people in Jos, and the other states saw were just hailstones.
Hailstones are often mistaken for snow, but they are not.
Our weather does not qualify for the real snow.

People in Jos already know it's hailstones. It's normal to them.

They weren't the ones who said it was snow. Educate the person who said so above. Not a full town.

Hey... Chill. cool
I was actually referring to the person who called it snow.
Didn't mean to make it look like I'm educating an entire town. wink
