Omu aran the headquarters of irepodun local government in kwara state, located at the south eastern end of kwara.
There is something massive going on in omu aran nobody is telling you,this little town has become a city, with new infrastructures new roads institutions, single handedly carried out by notable people of omu aran.

It is good to know that after Ilorin the capital of kwara state, offa d second largest city, omu aran is carving a niche for itself and in the next few years may become the hot spot for development in kwara state, new industries universities roads .its good to know that all this is by few people, not the Federal government.
It is as the Igbo's said,that living in a city and neglecting your village, it seems some wealthy Christians are turning this town around.

This development was charted by wealthy people but of course Christians played a big part in its development.

Oyedepo alone has turned d town to city he alone has allowed many houses to be built,I went to omu aran and I met many people building houses, I met a man who said his son who was working for oyedepo called him to pray for him after completing his house.

New farm products because of landmark university have flooded omu aran,foodstuffs are now cheap water now cheap,young men building houseshouses.

Another one is the ground breaking ceremony of moses orimolade university in omu aran,another Christian body who have cleared bushes and building big buildings,omu aran Is transforming rapidly.

The purpose of this thread is to show that Yoruba's do build up their villages and towns but when they do, it is spectular.

If this development is happening in omu aran,I dibtdon't see y it can't be replicated across Yoruba land.
