Lose some win some, that is the game boss. So long profit is made, it's a win. But NFP news is still fueling gold sell, why close it now

Funny thing, this week I had 7 trades on my demo account, not all hit TP but they were wining trades, placed only 3 on my live account same system, different pairs, net loss. If I was opportune to trade NFP I would have turned things around.

Next week will be better.

Yeah. Always another time. What could be wrong? Same system but different pairs and two different results.

It was bad luck. The only loss I got was from USDCAD which I talked about here. Safe to say I will not be trading it for a long time. Even today's NFP movement barely got to my long entry price (1.3132), before it started falling again.

The other live trades on GBPUSD and CADJPY fetched me over 20 pips each. The seven other trades on demo were a total 130 pips. I did not want to over expose the live account so I used demo. Now I know what works

CADCHF
Watch for bearish price action at 0.7610 area.
Strong Supply zone.
Also looks like a triple top can form.
However wait for definitive price action if it reaches that area.

Went long for the present trade following the formation of a clear double bottom.

Okay guys,

So I opened a forex account four weeks ago with CapitalXP, after being tricked here by a Nairalander for advertising a marijuana business which I thought it was until I registered to find out it was forex trading.

Fast forward, I receive a call from a lady who said is my account manager. So she assisted me in trading. My first trade was in bitcoin, fortunately for me I made a profit of 88USD. Lest I forget, my deposit investment is 250USD.

After making profit from my first trade, I requested for a withdrawal of 70USD this was on the 14th of June. They (CapitalXP) said withdrawal takes three working days to effect.

Lo and behold, is been more than two weeks and still counting, I have not gotten my money. Several calls and mails have been sent to them but they keep telling me lies and stories.

I don't know what to do again. This means my 250USD is gone. So these white niggas can scam too.

Anyone here trading with CapitalXP?

Someone should help me out in setting up a a $500 demo account on meta trader 4 mobile.

I have been struggling for a while now but can't find any help. The least amount of deposit is $3000 for many demo sites.

For now you can only use a PC to open a $500 demo account, mobile has fixed opening balances.

Hello house, good morning.

I have been unemployed since I finished Nysc last year and I am slowly losing my mind. Meanwhile, I trade forex to an acceptable degree of profitability. The problem is capital.

Now my question is “will it be adviceable to collect a loan for trading?”

Since job hunting is not forthcoming

No. Have patience and grow your small account.
Or you can borrow from a family member.

I borrowed from my dad also.

Don’t even have a small account anymore.

I think the family member route is a good one. Won’t be easy though.

I’ll give this a try. Thanks man

I think the spread for their ECN account is lower compared to the Standard, So u may want to Consider opting in for ECN account to reduce the Spread wink wink

I’m okay with their spreads. I just don’t want them to be a scam.

Wish us all a profitable trading week ahead. As a reminder, be mindful of your risk each time you choose to open a trade. No one is too big to fail in fx but it is almost impossible for a discipline and low risk taker to fail. Always trade for another day.
Learn and learn, proper understanding of how prices move is very important.

Note: I am sharing this just after I saw a respectable Pamm account manager I also recommended here lost it. @Divinepips123 portfolio crumbled. I took my lessons too. No Matter how confident you are, when you risk too much, you are gambling and not trading. I definitely will be reducing my risk too. Slow and steady wins the race.

Thank you sir.
Risk management makes the difference.
One must always trade with this mind set..
'I can be wrong with this trade'
'What would happen if all my trades go against me?'
Would I still have enough to continue trading?
For every trade..
One can be wrong.

Managing risks is what is sustainable.

don't take a loan to trade, don't even try it, it will put you under pressure, which will lead to overtrading, then total loss.

Loan from a bank? You won't even be granted. If you're taking a loan from a friend you better be explicit in explaining that the money will vanish, just to save you from future problems.

Unless you are 100% sure to your self that you will be profitable, don't go borrowing money. In fact, when you make profits, people will find you out and invest with you. Keep building yourself, you will get there.
