In the last 50 years of commercial air travel in Nigeria , over three dozens of airlines have come and gone as a result of politics, mismanagement of funds, corruption,high cost of aviation fuel or financial loss.

According to International Air Transport Association, Nigeria ,together with some other African countries , are among the most expensive places to do airline business .

From the federal government-owned Nigeria Airways to Concord Airline ,owned by the presumed winner of June 12,1993 election, these are AutoJosh's 16 famous Nigerian airlines that no longer exist:

And one overbloated idiotic aspirant and agent of lies as his vice are busy feeding lies to gullible ones about businesses being fold up. ignorant people doesn't know that the calamity started no be today. when you failed to deliver for that long period of time then there is no sense in trusting you with power again.

Chanchagi and kabo air missing on the list

Aero contractors The most rugged airline in Nigeria so far.Even With their poor services and cupboard airline , they survived. Kudos

Sosoliso and Belview( their services was poor then) couldn't survived after the plane crash

Aviation Industry is capital intensive.

Nigeria entreprenuer do not have the financial discipline and good management policy to sustain the aviation industry.

Most of them buy aging aircraft which becomes a "flying corpse" in the sky.
