About Npower Recruitment:

Npower which is another word for Npower Volunteer Corps was established in 2016 through the National Social Investment Office, by the President Buhari led administration. Npower which is like an internship was birthed by the National Social Investment programme. The National Social Investment Programme, which is currently hosted by the office of the Vice President came into existence to curb poverty and reduce unemployment among the youth,  through capacity building, investment and direct support.

Npower Recruitment for Non-Graduates
There are only two programmes for the Npower 2019 recruitment for non-graduates category. They include:

1.   Npower Knowledge Programme: They Npower knowledge is set aside by the Federal government to train young Nigerian unemployed youth to become entrepreneurs, freelancers and service providers in the rising world of technology. The programme will train its participants in capacity building and improve productivity and service interventions in the labor/marketplace. The Npower knowledge Programme has been divided into the following categories. They include;

Npower Creative
Npower Tech Hardware
Npower Tech Software.
Participants wishing to apply must be sure to identify which of the Npower Knowledge Programme category he or she wants to join. The Npower Knowledge programme will recruit about 35,000 Nigeria youth into the different categories of the Npower Knowledge Programme.

2. Npower Build Programme:  The N-Power Build is a training and certificate-based programme that will engage and train over 75,000 young unemployed Nigerians in order to enhance their skills and capacity and make them become a reliable workforce. The training will make become professional technicians and artisans.

The main industries for the deployment of Npower Build Programme are:

List of Npower Programs for Graduate Category:
The Npower programme for Nigerian graduates is a post-tertiary engagement programme that is set to engage Nigerian youth of the ages between 18-35 years of age, who have completed the mandatory one year NYSC programme and have obtained her NYSC discharge certificate.

The list of programs for Npower beneficiaries at graduate levels include the following below;-

1.) Npower Agro: 
Nigerian graduates who shall be engaged in the Npower Agro program will be charged with the responsibility of computing and documenting data pf Nigeria’s entire Agricultural assets and also providing proper counseling to farmers across the 38 states in Nigeria, educating them on agric extension practices and services from the federal ministry of Agriculture and rural development.

2.) Npower Teach: 
The Npower Teach Program has been established to assist quality basic education in Nigerian schools. Beneficiaries of this category will be deployed to various primary and secondary schools around Nigeria, as assisting teachers.

3.) Npower Tax: 
The Npower Tax program will engage a minimum of 3,700 Nigerian graduates nationwide, into the position of a Community Tax Liaison Officer whose responsibility will include creating awareness on tax compliance and overall customer’s management.

4.) Npower Health: 
The Npower Health program will be engaging its beneficiaries to become providers of preventive healthcare services in their respective communities. Some members of the public that shall benefit from this healthcare services include pregnant women and children and other vulnerable individuals and households.
