Muslims can never say that Christian never tried to help them. GEJ tried to build almajiri schools but muslims with their recalcitrant attitude didnt let that go well. Bishop Kukah has shown himself to be a good man trying to do a great good that MURIC can't think about to help themselves.

Enter a canteen and before your done eating or prolly stood up to pick a call, they're already there to carry your food and you can't touch them. We need to first address the issue of too many children for a family. It's killing us as a Nation. Religion too.

My neighbor served in Gombe years ago before the Boko Haram stuff started. He said they as corpers used to train some Almajiri kids and one of them was very brilliant (any northerner that is brilliant is extremely brilliant) so they took interest in him. They approached the Imams to say they wanted to arrange learning centers for the kids, the Imams rebuffed it and rejected their gesture.

Upon completion of their service, that boy that was brilliant was taken to Lagos snd finished his course at UNILAG, he a graduate now and he swore never to go back to Gombe.

Their rich men are using their knowledge about the Qu'ran to put fear into them. It's bad!

I went through all the posts in this thread and no single Muslim suggests a better approach to Kukah's initiative. It's a pity that we have lost humanity to religion. I had to come to Oyo state to carry my desktop as there was nothing I could use and the students had never seen one before. While training was going on, I submitted a proposal to the ministry of education for a purchase of 4 computers for the school such that the students could have something to work with and even work on their own after my service. I will never in my life forget what the perm sec of the ministry told me. He said 'you are not one of us' jokingly. And that was how the proposal was thrown out.
