Why Airpeace only? 3 incidents in less than 4 months! All the planes in their fleets should have been grounded by now and independent thorough checks conducted, are the aviation authorities waiting for disaster to happen? For me, Airpeace is a no go area now

Plane and racing cars use nitrogen to fill its tyre. A vulcanizer won't help U out.

Nigeria is a Time Bomb waiting to explode

Yes! I was shocked as I used that rout last 2 weeks where one aircraft will be used several times a day. We were in Abuja waiting for plane to load passengers from Lagos to arrive, drop them, then carry us to Port Harcourt the same day.

Is it just Airpeace? All the planes in Nigeria do that.

The number of cycles does not matter. An aircraft can takeoff and land as many times a day as time permits. All it will cause is more wear to certain components but if serviced and changed as and when due is perfectly okay. An aircraft in the ground is capital tied down. They are far too expensive to own and maintain to keep idle in the airports.

"about to die" planes flying Nigerians locally. undecided

I am sure the pilot isn't an expert and won't be able to control the plane well while landing if the tyres were not discovered before take off.

What happens to general check up before take off?
Re: Plane Suffers A Blowout During Takeoff In Abuja by Bimpe29: 11:51am On Jan 07, 2019
Alihamdulillahi for that blow out, it could have been worse had it taken off. Landing would surely be nasty.

Oga, using same aircraft t-fro service can be detrimental as there would not be time for scrupulous check on them but just refuelling and other minor inspections. "Idle aircraft" why would commercial aircraft be idle while Nigeria has multiple airports and passengers are sleeping in airports? "Expensive to maintain" were they carrying people for free?

The only culmination you can give us is maybe FAAN Policy maybe harsh on them considering the economic situation of Nigeria, on that, it hampers their deployment of many aircrafts.

Airplane tyres use nitrogen.........go vulca who will use regular air and you have likely caused a future plane crash

Tell them o........so far the air frame is within LOV (Limit Of Validity) for cycles and hours and well maintained,

24 hour (realistically 19 hours with ground time etc) flying with an aircraft is usual
