Consultancy Services: This includes advise on farm construction and planning, training field and management staffs, bird health and vaccination management, bird feeds and feeds production, sensitization on economic methods on running the poultry business to maximize profit and other aspects that concerns poultry farming as a whole

Farm Designing: We include the site planning and and designing of the structures to be on the landscape.

Farm Construction: We build your desired and dream poultry house and make it a reality. Our Services are very fast and reliable.

Cage Installation: We provide locally fabricated cages of high standard and quality with 7-10 years durability. We have the Regular cage which have 96 birds capacity and 128 birds capacity and also the Premium Cage which also have the 96 birds and 128 birds capacity

Deep Litter Installation: Deep litter is a poultry housing system, based on the repeated spreading of straw or sawdust material on the floor. An initial layer of litter is spread for the birds to use for bedding material and to defecate in, and as the litter is soiled, new layers of litter are continuously added by the farmer. At Survival Poultry Farm Services, we help farmers install different capacities of deep litter systems where we also supply Chick drinkers, feeders and water lines.

Logistics Services: At Survival Poultry Farm Services, we have a part of the organisation which is saddled with the logistics and delivery services of agricultural products.

CHICKEN ALSO CAN TASTE���

Chickens can taste almost the same tastes as humans, as can most other animals.

They have the ability to taste salty, sour and bitter, but don't seem particularly attracted to salty, sour or bitter foods.

But they lack the "sweet" taste receptors, so what tastes sweet to us, won't taste sweet to a chicken.

SOME UNTOLD SITUATIONS ABOUT POULTRY FARMING���

Pecking is genetic and there are so many factors that cause pecking,but based on ur question, Blood contains mineral salt and the moment an injured bird is pecked by any of the birds thereby tasting blood from the injured bird, it triggers the act called PECKING.

If feed offered to birds lack enough salt as a part of feed constituents , so birds resolve to getting the insufficient salt from the blood tasted from the flock and they make it an habit.

The funny part is that birds imitate an habit seen in it mate, so the moment a bird taste the blood from an injured bird and start pulling feathers of others to gain access to another fountain of blood � from another bird, others follow suite by pulling feathers of members of the flock without having an idea of the reason why the initial bird is pulling off feathers.

So they also begin pecking when eventually taste blood through the act of pulling feathers with innocent mind from thebeginning byy justt imitating another bird.

KEEP AN EYE ON THEM........they are just acting with their innocent mind!

Most laying pullets are housed in cages and should be moved to these facilities at least 2 weeks before egg production begins.

Breeders moved from a growing house to an adult house should also be given at least 2 weeks to adjust to their new environment before the stress of egg production begins.

Beaks should be retrimmed as necessary, and cull birds removed at the time of rehousing.

FEEDERS are devices placed to supply food to birds (bird feeding). The success of a bird feeder in attracting birds depends upon its placement and the kinds of foods offered, as different species have different preferences.
