thanks @ op! in addition, if your TV doesn't support miracast out of the box you can stream wirelessly to it except you buy a miracast dongle for it. Also, if your PC runs on Windows 8.1 and higher, by default, you can stream directly from PC to TV using miracast assuming your TV is miracast ready.
