Following the violent clash at the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) governorship flag off Campaign on Tuesday, 8th January 2019, a footage has emerged showing the moment Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo, Idumota Azeez Lawal (a.k.a Kunle Poly) and other National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) chieftains met at an event in Lagos sometime ago ( months before the clash).

The NURTW executives stormed the event in style while surrounded by security operatives consisting of soldiers, police and OPC members. 

The men were hailed and were given special recognition at the public event. 

MC Oluomo was left badly wounded after he was stabbed in the neck by members of a rival gang at the flag-off of the party’s gubernatorial candidate’s campaign in Ikeja. One NURTW member was killed in the process and others injured. 

Rumour has it that the clash was between the gang of MC Oluomo and that of a rival identified as Kunle Poly.

The Lagos State Police Command declared Mustapha Adekunle aka Sego wanted for “attempting to disrupt the APC rally”.  But Adekunle described the police action as a “frame-up.”

It was claimed by some NURTW members that Sego was not at the place where union’s state Treasurer Musiliu Akinsanya (aka MC Oluomo) was stabbed.

According to them, MC Oluomo was stabbed in the presence of Agbede Tajudeen, NURTW chairman in Idumota Azeez Lawal (aka Kunle Poly) and others.

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force has reiterated again that the latest rumour about the death of Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (aka MC OLU-OMO) circulating round the state particularly on social media is not TRUE.
