The N-power Tech (Hard Ware) is supposed to be outstanding and wonderful amongst all the programmes under N-power Nationalist Social Investment Scheme but there are lots of things that were not clarified to the trainees in the course of the training and after . The admin of N-power Hard ware should be transparent to the trainees as many issues were not clarifies to the applicants. N5 Billion was invested to acquire tool kit for six thousand trainees all over the federation and about N3.2 Billion was invested in the trainees as training tuition as outlined in their rules of engagement but the issue of start-up capital was not mentioned at all. Does this mean the trainees will have to go and hustle for start-up capital after the 9 months Internship?

1) We want the management to clarify the applicants on the possibility of start -up capital after the 9 months Internship. This was not clarified during and after the in training.

2) It was promised that trainees will go for 9 months internship with relevant industry employers only for the applicants to be asked to go and enroll with any phone repairer on the street . How will the married women amongst the trainee cope with this ? Can a married woman up in northern Nigeria go an enroll with a road side phone repairer ?

3) The name of the programme changed overnight to Non- graduate programme after the trainees have have met the requirement of submitting their certificates .

4) It was stated that the training is on how to repair phones, tablet and laptops , why was it that phones alone was what the applicants were taught how to fix as against all these promises of incubating future manufactures with Internship with road side engineer which the trainees has to sought themselves.

NOTE : Priority is placed on N- teach , N-Agro above N-tech. Graduates would never have applied to if it was initially tagged a Non- graduate programme because of a preferential treatment like this. Graduate applicants were like tricked into applying only for them to change nomenclature to Non- graduate overnight.

NOTE- The trainees need clarifications on this issues so as to know either to go back to our normal STREET where we used to be if there will be no start-up capital because we can start work with only pliers and screw drivers given to us.
