Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar, withdrew from the presidential debate yesterday after arriving at the venue. He lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC for not showing up for the debate and insisted that there was no need for him to participate in the debate since the man he came for, did not deem it fit to attend. In a statement he released, he maintained that it is a presidential debate he came for and not a candidacy debate. He said he cannot challenge or question an administration whose principal is not present to defend his policies.
