Ever since the federal government introduced Stamp duty charges, FCMB has been charging me N50 on my savings account, but STANBIC and Diamond banks don't charge. In all these, I operate a savings account, Diamond and Stanbic bank said "Savings accounts" are excluded. I currently have just #3,000 left in my account been going through some financial challenges after my marriage. I wanted to know if savings accounts are excluded from the Stamp duty charges. Thanks.
