Thats because he leveraged on the closeness between him and Buhari. Buhari allowed him to misbehave. Buhari tolerated his impunity.they was something between him and Buhari that made even disobey presidential orders
You may not be far from the truth..maybe 2015 election rigging in kano.

Same as a young gal who called u sir before but stopped as soon as you toast her

Even Danbazzau being a member of the presidency cabal was also never comfortable with the most use-less, lawless and irresponsible IGP ever seen in Nigeria

Just imagine! The randy IGP-Idris never obeyed the minister of interior or the president being his C-in-C yet none of them have the moral might to discipline him accordingly. sad sad
Maybe he had them by the balls. Must have done some dirty deals 4 them which eroded their moral ground to deal with him. Like the kano election job in2015.

This Davil (Danbazzua) machine is one of the the cabals running this country down. His antecedence when he was chief of defense staff when late president Yaradua was sick, almost plunge this country into anarchy. The same Danbazzua is a key strategists in wrecking this country in the manner of it is

Crass arrogance, supremacy fight and pursuit of vain glory has been the hallmark of most of the APC's appointees since they came into power.

Clearly, the Buhari led federal government lacks cohesion, unity and synergy. Dambazau of all people did not enjoy working with cabal anointed IGP Idris. Ditto Daura of DSS and Magu of EFCC.

He has something against them, discipline him and be exposed. If not, how can he defy the president and the national assembly and no action was taken against him.

Once you lose power in Nigeria, you become an outcast.

This is not about performance.

That's why governors strive to go to the Senate or HOR because it is a lonely world out there without the paraphernalia of government.

/

that's the case in Nigeria
