A very disturbing video showing a child being physically abused has caused outrage after it surfaced online.

In the video, the tattooed hand of a woman can be seen brutally slapping a child multiple times across the face. The child began to cry and the abuser used her hand to cover the baby's mouth and nose then proceeded to try to suffocate the child.

The abuse was filmed then shared online and social media users are understandably angered, not just by the abuse, but also by the fact that the abuser was proud enough to film it, or at least to let it get filmed.

At the moment, it is not known where the abuse happened but social media users are calling for help in locating the woman using the tattoo on her hand.

Sadly, it could be a temporary tattoo and that might make it difficult to find the abuser and rescue the child.

I watched it on someone's WhatsApp status yesterday and I almost cried. It shall not be well with the abuser anywhere she is. The baby is too young to experience such pain
