A final year student of Kogi State University in Anyigba, was murdered yesterday by unknown gunmen, according to reports.

It was gathered that the deceased identified as Abdullahi Muhammed Awwal popularly known as comrade Lincoln, was killed near NTA office after being attacked by the gunmen.

While the main reason for the killing is yet to be ascertained, some have said he was killed by suspected armed robbers, others claimed he was shot dead by cultists.

However, the deceased student has been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
May his soul rest in peace.
