Local conditions are considered in football. Egypt the host is a predominantly Muslim nation. Ramadan will not just affect players of the host nation (who should have home advantage as host - reward for agreeing to host) but also spectators, who may be reduced because of fasting.

FIFA WC 2022 will not hold in the traditional June/July but November/December due to Qatar local condition.

Then FIFA is also cursed for moving 2022 world cup from June to November because of Qatar heat. Adjusting the schedule because of fasting players doesn't make CAF stupid or backward, they're only being considerate.
It is pretty obvious FIFA corruption is the cause of Qatar being appointed 2022 world cup host.

Corruption has been part and parcel of FIFA for decades.

Nonsense. So if South Africa or even Nigeria wants to host the Nations cup, you will tell us to wait because of Ramadan. We just no get standard for this Africa. Abi the players can tell their clubs in Europe to postpone match because they are fasting?!
oga shut up u no get talk for mouth, shey na players postpone am, the governing body did which is a fair thing to do, this is a tournament that’s being played every 2 years unlike the club competitions every other year with just a month of rest, so what are you even talking about, how do you compare this two competitions?

If the Turkish or Iranian football association decides for their league to go on holiday during the Ramadan period, it is a fair thing to do

You lack home training, it is obvious. I intentionally didn't insult you, but you in your typical bad manners couldn't answer simple question. If Arab/Muslim nations like the two you just mentioned didn't dim it fit, then it is really not a big deal. Oponu omo afofungbemu.

try to comprehend a little sentences, you don’t want to compare a league that’s being played Year in year out to a competition played just every two years!

If this association thinks it’s good for the them and the teams involved then that’s fair enough and if the other association never thought about it or thinks otherwise it’s same until they find someone who’ll bring up such topic and they’ll debate about it and make it happen if they dim it fit.

I don’t want to believe you’re a religious bigot

So I replied with insult and you now cared to calmly state your position. What I mean is that if those leagues could play during Ramadan, then it is possible the competition go one during the period. Then if you think the organizers have the right. Then you are also right. Thank you.
