We have three methods of which we can lay tiles on floor,thy are:
1. Straight line method
2. Block from method
3. Triangle from or Diagonal method
But straight line method and Block from method are commonly use. Tiles is perfectly good to be use at any various building construction to beautify the exterior and interior of the building, it makes the interior of the building to become cool.
It also make the building to be snazzy and immaculate, even the broken tiles when lay on the floor with different colors of tiles also look accurate and snazzy.

Reason why we soak tiles most especially wall tiles.

Soaking ceramic building materials in water is a common practice. This is a necessity when laying tile that is very soft, like Saltillo tile, or low-fired, un glazed terracotta. When a tile (or a brick for that matter) is too porous, it will suck the water out of the mortar without allowing it to set properly, leaving weak bonds between mortar and tiles.

Use this simple test:

Put a quarter on the back side of the tile
With a crayon or grease pencil, draw a circle around the quarter.
Remove the quarter and fill the circle with water.

If the water gets soaked up in less than three minutes, I would soak the tile. At least place them face down and hose them to allow them to absorb some water.

Reasons for cracked tiles on floors and walls.
The issue of cracked tiles on floors and walls is a difficult problem. In most cases, the problem is not with the tile but with the material below the tile. Because the cause is hidden below tile, you cannot easily investigate this cause or fix it.

Following are seven reasons why your floor tile has cracked, ranging from the remote and obscure (sub-standard tile and heavy dead loads) to the most common (sharp blows, improperly cured concrete e.t.c
1. Tile Received a Sharp Blow.
If the crack is located in one area, extending across only a single tile, this is probably the case. Sometimes, you will see a chip taken out of the tile where the object hit. 
2. Tile Cracked Under Heavy Loads.
Did the refrigerator's dead weight do it? Perhaps.However, keep in mind that this is dead weight. Should an errant mover let a fridge, table, dishwasher, or cabinet land too hard on the floor, this is considered a sharp blow and could easily crack the tile.
3. The tiles is installed over a control joint.
Control joints in concrete are essentially preplanned cracks. Since it is almost certain that concrete will crack, why not place those cracks where they can be kept track of? Furthermore, they are intended to create a weakened area in the concrete and regulate where cracks will occur, normally as a straight line.
4. Tile Was Installed on Improperly Spaced Joists.
With tile, the less deflection, the better. Wood is flexible; tile is rigid. So, if you have a floor with flex, your tile will suffer.
5. Tile's Concrete Substrate Has Cracked Over Time.
You've seen concrete basement floors, driveways, or patios. Chances are good that this concrete, if it is a few years old, has a long crack or two running through it.

Even though concrete seems like the perfect substrate for tile, it too has its own problems. When concrete substrate cracks, this is transmitted to the tile above in the form of a reflective crack. 

If the tile cracks are long, continuous, and extending across multiple tiles, likelihood is high that the concrete below has cracked.
6. Tile's Concrete Substrate Did Not Cure Long Enough.
Newly poured concrete is full of water. As the concrete cures, the water evaporates and the concrete shrinks.

It is recommended by The Tile Council of America that you let new concrete cure for "as long as possible" or at least for 28 days. Some thin-set manufacturers recommend only 14 days' curing time before installing the tile, but the Tile Council believes that this is not long enough.

If you have a new home with cracked tile, there is a distinct possibility that the concrete did not cure long enough.
7. Tile Is Sub-Standard.
Because the tile is cracked, and the tile is the only visible portion of the installation sandwich of mortar and substrate, most homeowners assume that the tile is at fault. It is possible to purchase sub-standard tiles. In fact, tiles purchased at discount shops may have shady origins. However, this is usually not the cause.
So those are the reason why tiles get cracked on floors and walls.

5. Hand Trowel
Hand trowel is a small hand tool used for digging, applying, smoothing, or moving small amounts of viscous or particulate material such as, cement,sand,gravel e.t.c mixed together for construction of buildings or Tiles installation.

6. Chisel
A chisel is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge of blade on its end, for carving or cutting a hard material such as wood, stone,plaster walls or floors and concrete or metal by hand, struck with a mallet,hammer or mechanical power in tiles installation.

7. Axe
A axe is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge of blade for carving or cutting a hard material such as wood, stone,plaster walls and floors or concrete areas by hand or mechanical power in tiles installation on floors and walls, using axe makes to do some plaster areas in tiles installation makes work fast and done snappy

8. Work Gloves
It is used for covering of hands for protection against cement,mortar or chemicals in tiles installation and typically having separate parts for each finger and the thumb.

9. Rain boot
A Rain boot or waterproof, typically calf-length rubber or plastic boot. It is wear to cover the legs or prevent the legs from harmful materials. Such as cement,stone or chemicals that can affect the legs or sharp objects in construction or tiles installation.

10. Tile Pincers (Nippers)
Tile pincers or nippers are used to enlarge holes in tiles and form tile edges. Start by scoring the tile with a tile cutter and then use the nippers to cut the tile to the desired shape. Tile nippers are recommended for making circular patterns on ceramic tiles.

11. Plumb or Nivel
A plumb or Nivel is a tool used to indicate how parallel (level) or perpendicular (plumb) a surface is relative to the earth. It is used in tiles installation to get accurate results, and to make the tiles install immaculate.

12. Measuring Tape
A tape measure is used to measure distances in different units of measure, such as meters, inches or feet. And tiles is calculate in meters ,the tape measurement in tiles helps to know the actual tiles that is going to install on floors and walls. Like I said early and with my post above, to get the accurate tiles which it is going to install on floors and walls, we are going to measure the length of the room or anywhere and measure the width of the room.
Then multiply your two results together, and your results must be per meters square, since tiles is calculate in METERS.

13. Foam
A foam is an object which is also used in tiles installation to clean the surface of tiles ( floors and walls). And to prevent the tiles from rough, it is also used to dust white cement to the open space between the tiles or the lines in between each tiles.

14. Bucket
A bucket is used to fetch water, soak tiles and mixing of mortar in tiles installation. Sometimes it is used to carry out waste particles such as broken tiles, cracked concentrate on floors and walls.

15. Grout float
A grout float is used to spread grout into the joints between tiles. The bottom, the part that is used to actually spread the grout, is usually made from rubber. The handle can be wood or plastic and the image of grout float are show below and the way it is used.
