The public has the right to know. It is a matter of public interest. Investigation of this nature is largely forensic, tracing movement of money. By now EFCC should know 99% of the methods politicians use to steal, collect bribe, move and hide money and assets.
So telling the public will hardly compromise investigation.

An investigation is private and its bad practice for law enforcement to make investigation public until they are ready to prosecute
