Technology as we all know has given rise to many time and labour saving ways to get things done; one of these being the idea of "Online Buying".

Nowadays, one can buy anything from any part of the world while sitting in the comfort of his/her home using their smartphones. But as everything that has a good side must also have its bad side...there are also some downsides involved with Online Buying, some of which includes: elongated delivery time, delivery of wrong/defective/low quality items, problems incurred during wiring payments, etc.

Another major problem now is the fact that there appears so many online retailers that we don't know which ones are real and which ones aren't. At least there are some trustworthy Online Vendors such as Jumia(which I work for), Amazon, Konga and AliExpress; but there are many others which might not even be registered and we see most of these on social media everyday advertising their goods. How can we know if such vendors are reliable. I have heard cases where people order from such vendors and get very low quality goods or even get duped

So the purpose of this thread is for us to share our ideas and experiences so that others could know where and how to buy things online and not to get duped of their money.

Thank you
