Jesus never condemned the soldiers or soldier work. Soldiers cannot soldier without weapons.
Our prayer is for citizens and people stop fighting each other so we would not have a need for armies and weapons.

Remember, there is someone somewhere in faraway borno state, faraway from his family members and those who truly honestly care about him, fighting for his country, A country who doesn't necessarily care about him, under a government, who has zero value for human life.. Waiting, believing praying, that one day, all these efforts, all these bloodshed will be worth some form of peace, for both him, and the forthcoming generation.
The government doesnt care about him same way he is there because of his salary and to protect his pot belllied oga . Truth is no one cares about the other in Niggeria . His ogas are the reason he is still there. He is also there by choice. Ironically he will lay his life for the ogas that dont care about him.
