In a last minute effort, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has dropped its Presidential Candidate, Rt. Gen John Gbor to support the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

It wasn’t an easy call for the political party, as it was understood that the Governor Willie Obiano is a strong supporter of Buhari and at various instances demonstrated such inclination.

The party noted that APC in South East is a difficult market to sell and that the distrust among the people is very glaring. Atiku is the viable choice , as his acceptance among ndigbo in South East at recent campaigns, have shown.

With Vice Presidential slot going to the South East, and to Peter Obi, APGA agrees that the party slogan of ‘Onye Aghala Nwanne Ya’, must not stop with APGA but extended to every other Onye Igbo.

Speaking to SUNCITY NEWS a chieftain of the party name withheld said that the party leadership took the decision after an extensive deliberation and considerations in the spirit of the party founding fathers.

APGA, therefore call on the electorates in South East to Vote Massively for PDP for the Presidential Election Only.

When Atiku was cleared by APC to contest the presidential primaries in 2014 together with Buhari in Lagos, he was not corrupt.

When he lost to Buhari and remained loyal to the party, Atiku was not corrupt.

When he used his private jet to campaign with Buhari to his electoral victory, Atiku was not corrupt.

When he remained in APC all through 2015 to 2018, he was not corrupt.
