Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death. The reasons behind a suicide or attempted suicide can be complex and it leaves devastating families and friends to question why? And wonder if they if they could have done something to prevent it. Here are some key facts according to WHO

' Well in my opinion suicide should never be an option but do you know that many suicides happen impulsively in moments of crisis with a breakdown in the ability to deal with life stresses, such as financial problems, relationship break-up or chronic pain and illness? Some religion even culture support suicide.

Japanese has the highest number of suicide rates in the world because some suicides are considered to be honorable. Hinduism accepts a man's right to end one's life through the non-violent practice of fasting to death, termed Prayopavesa. But Prayopavesa is strictly restricted to old age yogis who have no desire or ambition left, and no responsibilities.
