NSA warns Buhari of imminent defeat, urges him to postpone election by 5 weeks by ChangetheChange: 1:41pm On Feb 14, 2019
Sources close tothe Presidency revealed that the NSA has studied all security reports and voter numbers with global analysts and have arrived at the conclusion that President Buhari will not win the elections if they’re held on Saturday irrespective of the weight of the ruling party’s rigging attempts. The President has since been advised to postpone the elections by 5 weeks citing security issues in Northern Nigeria particularly the security unrest in Zamfara and the recent attack on the Borno State Governor by insurgents.

As Nigeria counts down to its most important and historic presidential elections, LeadersNG have exclusively gathered from sources within the Presidency that the Office of the National Security Adviser has sent an emergency memo to President Buhari who seeks re-election in 2 days requesting that the elections be postponed. Formally, the letter cites unfounded insecurity issues but a leaked closed door meeting with the NSA revealed by a LeadersNG source has stated that the actual reason is on the incumbent’s imminent defeat to PDP’s frontline Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Saturday if elections hold.

The Presidency has reacted by mounting pressure on the INEC Chairman Mahmoud Yakubu to announce a postponement immediately as the NSA and the DG of SS are currently in a meeting with the President perfecting the narratives in the plan to postpone the February 16 polls. It is clear knowledge that the Nigerian President is out of Favor with the business, the student, the elite and the foreign communities in Nigeria and beyond and several high profile endorsements on PDP’s Atiku Abubakar are clear indicators that President Buhari’s chances at the polls are a lot slimmer than his opponent’s.

Any attempt to postpone the election will affect the credibility of the election and increase the margin of defeat for Bubu!

I heard he is now in Daura.

He should not bother coming back and we don't need his presence on May 29 when Atiku will be sworn-in as executive President .

There are extents which you can rig elections

Buhari has a battered image that an attempt to rig will still see him loosing the election.

BMCs better look for another job now cos they will really be miserable after this election.Atiku has also portrayed himself as the one who can get Nigeria working by reenergizing the economy and providing jobs.
He is also a capitalist; an advocate of free trade,Remember the choice we make on February 16, will shapen alot about the Nigerian society for another Four years.
As we go to the polls, I admonish us to remember that the future of our Children and what history will say about the country depends on the decisions we make, our actions and inactions before, during and after the elections.
God bless Nigeria.anyone who allows himself to be used as a political thug and dies should understand that election will come and go, but Nigeria will remain.
The Independent National Electoral Commission must live to its billing and conduct an election we can be proud of now and even years to come. Violence is resistable but we must ensure that we also enhance peace through conduct of security officials, ad-hoc staffs and other important stakeholders. If you are in bus with Buhari and Atiku and you start smelling innocent blood ,who will you suspect? please be sincere

You stay somewhere and concoct an article full of grammatical errors and expect reasonable people that want real change to believe you because u claim to support Atiku?
Oga,Atiku does not need your lying type with poor grammar that gives the ticket a bad image.
