3.5kva inverter, 4 batteries 200ah, 9 solar panels 300w, 60a/12/24/48v mppt charge controller. Thats what can power it. This will give you 24/7 backup.. I have been following this thread and I must commend all that had contributed. But I have a question, Does it mean using exceess number of panel kills battery faster,? How do I calculate the proper number of panels to be used in an installation?? |

Chrismentor3:No it does not! that's why you have the charge controller.. Over sizing your panels is highly recommended, incase of period of low sun (rain, snow). Calculation of number of panels has to do with your battery sizing. |
